Now based in Brooklyn, Kim recorded the self-titled 12-song album with John Goodmanson (Blonde Redhead, The Gossip, Sleater-Kinney) in Seattle’s London Bridge Studios and has assembled a live band featuring Chloe Saavedra (Smoosh) and Melinda Parks (Har Mar Superstar). ‘JAN’ is released digitally in North America on 13th November 2012 and available in the rest of the world from October 15th. A limited edition CD will be available in the UK and USA (both Nov 13th) directly from Enclaves, with a distributed version available in stores. Static People Static People was formed in 2008 by musicians from San Francisco and Sonoma, CA. The sound is germinated in post punk/alt turbulence, a mix of dirty pop and melodic indie swells. Best Punk/Post Punk artist of 2013.
