Their self-released debut record, Dreams of Water, recorded with producer Marc Jacob Hudson (Two Tongues, Saves the Day), was released September 21, 2010, and received favorable reviews from critics. Followed by the Sleepy EP (featuring B-Sides and Acoustic Tracks) which was digitally released in summer of 2012. They are currently working on their 2nd full-length album which is set to be released sometime in 2013. The band has been praised for meshing different musical styles to create a unique, rhythmic and atmospheric sound. Beta State Beta State is a 4-piece Ambient/Pop/Rock band from San Francisco, CA. Read the write-up here: http://mikeshinoda.com/2011/06/06/how-to-get-attention-the-right-way/ ***Beta State was named #4 on Live 105's "Top Bay Area Bands of 2011". ***Beta State's video for "I'm Still Alive" was played on FUSE TV On Demand for the entire month of December 2010! It was released in December of 2011 Via Coma The band created a logo to visually represent the name “Via Coma”, which means “through endless sleep.” It is frequently seen in both their marketing and merchandising, accompanying, or sometimes completely absent of the band’s name. Formed in 2009, Via Coma consists of Rob Marshall (vocalist/bassist/lyricist), Jesse Kyle (vocalist/pianist), and Nicolas Gracia (vocalist/guitarist). The band released their first demo, Bridges, in 2009, which saw two physical pressings and is currently sold out but still available through iTunes and all other major online distributors. In the summer of 2010, Via Coma began writing their first full-length album. The sound of the yet-to-be-released record is a departure as well as an expansion from Bridges. Over the course of writing and recording, Via Coma developed a knack for song craftsmanship, memorable melody and sonic nuance; qualities one rarely hears in the same package. Releasing three singles off the record so far (“Back And Forth”, “Stitches”, and “Iron Horse”), Via Coma see no signs of slowing down anytime soon. A remix of “Stitches” has already been released by Spacebrother (Jared Piccone of Innerpartysystem), as well as being hand selected from hundreds of bands, as one of the Top 15 local artists in the running to play San Francisco radio station, Live 105’s annual spring concert, BFD. In addition, the band has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the physical pressing of the album. Ghost Parade Justin Bonifacio- Vocals & Guitar George Woods- Guitar & Vocals Kenny Rodriguez – bass/percussion/vocals Anthony Garay - drums San Francisco alternative rock quartet, Ghost Parade, is all business. That is not to say that the guys do not know how to let loose and, as they claim, “go stupid until our faces fall off.” It is just that when it comes to their craft, Ghost Parade take what they do with the upmost gravity. Their brand of melodic, emotive alt-rock hints at an emo-fied version of the Deftones with some killer licks mixed in. Yeah, Ghost Parade is dense in all the right places.
