He was born in 1990. Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Schmale (aka That Ghost) began recording his lo-fi Pacific Coast indie rock anthems in his early teens. By 17, the Northern California native had released a string of home-recorded EPs and three full-length albums, all of which employed his signature blend of reverb-drenched vocals and intricate pop arrangements. Manasseh is currently based in Oakland, California and can be seen fairly often in bay are clubs and occasionally on tour. The current line-up consists of bass, drums, guitar,and pedal & lap steel. - Rybalko from San Francisco Rybalko is the recording project of Matt McLean, an alt-folk singer songwriter who played previously as the lead singer of the local SF band todayokay, and as the guitarist for the indie-soul band Stringer Belle. Rybalko's recent live line-up includes Paul O'leary on bass (Stringer Belle, The Scribes), Jodie Ellis on electric guitar (The Scribes), and Giacomo Coslovich on drums. |
