Based out of Los Angeles, CA, holychild’s latest music video, “Best Friends," was exclusively premiered by MTV Buzzworthy who named it the song of the summer. Their debut EP, mind speak, will be released in fall 2013. - Ghost (tet) Quartet version of Ghost And the City Ghost And the City Ghost & the City serves up a perfect musical cocktail of blues, jazz, rock and Motown. At times, the band is grooving as if it were performing in a 1930s speakeasy, adding haunting horns to the mix. But it also fits in as a sound of city life in 2012. There is joy and anger equally balanced in its compositions. The band's music is a soundtrack for questionable shadows lurking in dark alleys. Formed in 2008, Ghost & the City recently released its second full-length album, "Sazerac," which is available for download from the band's website. Lineup: Ash Maynor, vocals, piano; Alexis Melnicki, vocals; Jesse Boley, saxophone; Liam Staskawicz, trombone; Max Miller-Loran, trumpet; Aaron Hellam, guitar; Peter Sullivan, bass; Justin Silva, drums; Molly Smart, piano, percussion, vocals. -Here's a sample of Ghost (tet) sound: |
