The Skabilly Rebels are an English band formed in 2003 by Roddy Radiation, formerly of The Specials and Sam Smith, who had previously worked together in rockabilly band The Bonediggers. The band is based in Coventry, England. Their songs, all written by Radiation, are a hybrid of ska and rockabilly music styles.

They released their debut album Blues Attack in 2009 and toured the United States in 2012 and now again in 2013.

The Hooks
Ronan Mulligan - Guitar & Vocals
Keith Mulligan - Guitar & Vocals
Colin Delaney - Drums & Percussion
Willie Gregory - Bass

Keith & Ronan Mulligan who hail from Sligo, Ireland and Willie Gregory & Colin Delaney are native San Franciscans.

Formed in Sligo, Ireland in 2003. We played two nationwide tours with Shane MacGowan, did a few 2FM Fanning sessions.

After regularly packing out The Garavogue and McGarrigles in their native Sligo, and Dublin's Ambassador, Olympia and Belfast's Limelight, while supporting Shane McGowan & The Popes. The Hooks are now building their fan base in the states using San Francisco as headquarters. In the Autumn/Fall of 2002, David Mullen, Keith & Ronan Mulligan put the word out in their local town of Sligo (a small city nestled in the mountains of North West of Ireland) that they were looking for a drummer to join a new band. Enda McGoldrick answered the call and thus formed the first incarnation of The Hooks.

The Hooks set about recording a four track EP, which would become Jackie Hayden’s record of the month in national music magazine ‘Hot Press’. The Hooks received a weekend’s free recording in Dublin. This combined with another recording session at JAM Studio’s in Kells, Co. Meath made up the tracks on the second E.P. This E.P. received much national airplay on Ireland’s top radio stations. ‘2FM’, Irelands biggest radio station, offered them two recording sessions for the Dave Fanning sessions, which were and are still broadcast. Shane MacGowan and The Popes requested the help of The Hooks for two Irish tours together.

These gigs were a great success with the band playing sell out shows at Dublin’s Olympia and Ambassador Theatre’s as well as Belfast, Carrick-On-Shannon, Galway, Limerick and Cork. The Hooks went to London’s Miloco Studio’s to record some further tracks for various record companies. Following this Keith & Ronan decided to try America out, leaving David & Enda at home to pursue their own commitments.

With 2004 came the trip across the Atlantic to edge of the Pacific and San Francisco.
Keith & Ronan landed in America in June of 2004 with a phone number for a drummer in San Francisco by the name of Colin Delaney. Colin said he had a friend by the name of Willie Gregory who played bass and incorporated him into the band. Thus forming the second and present incarnation of The Hooks.

The Hooks didn’t waste much time and played their first gig in August in San Francisco’s Amnesia. A stream of gigs followed including The Fillmore, The Rickshaw Stop, The Ant Show, LA’s The Viper Room, Blakes of Berkeley, The Four Deuces, The Hemlock Tavern, The Tongue & Groove, The Arrow Bar, The Edinburgh Castle, The Elbo Room, 111 Minna, to name a few. In between these gigs The Hooks began recording an E.P. at Hyde Street Studio’s with Jamie McMann.

The 10,000 Feet E.P. was released at ‘The Bottom of The Hill’ to critical acclaim in December 2005. Live 105 radio station asked the lads in to record a live on session for their Soundcheck programme with DJ Aaron Axelson. A television appearance including an interview and live performance was then scheduled for KTSF on a show called Nightshift. The crew claimed it was their most successful piece yet.

Influences Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, The Runaways, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, XMal Deutschland, The Queen Bs, Bea Pickles, the Misfits

Like a living, breathing Russ Meyers movie brought to life, Thee Merry Widows are a sight and sound to behold!

Combining elements of traditional psychobilly with their love of horrorpunk, surf, and garage, Thee Merry Widows are America's first all female psychobilly band. These girls may be pretty, but make no mistake, they ain't afriad to rock the fuck out!

Started by vocalist and burlesque queen Miss Eva von Slut and upright bassist Nikki Nightbreed in their San Francisco apartment, the band grew quickly to include sci-fi sweetheart drummer Andrea, garage rock rhythm guitar goddess Mistress Mandy, motorcycle maniac turned upright bassist Jenna Ferocious, and lead guitarist/kindergarten teacher Nishone.

Emerging from the underground, the band has become a major force to be reckoned with in California's psychobilly scene and have rocked shows with Demented Are Go, The Meteors, Guana Batz, Mad Sin, Nekromantix, The Long Tall Texans, Batmobile, The Coffin Nails, Hellbillys, and The Misfits to name a few. Thee Merry Widows have toured the US, the UK, Europe, and played a very special show for the boys at San Quentin. The girls are currently working on a blood lust follow up to Revenge Served Cold, slated for release in early 2008!

Alcohol-soaked and rocking like the Runaways on speed, these gals are ready to rumble! Think you're man enough?
