Initially, the band interspersed heavy, progressive, guitar-driven instrumental sections with live drums and off-beat sampled drums akin to those of Aphex Twin, although since their second album they have developed their work to include keyboard parts.

---- from Beverly, Massachusetts
Caspian is a rock band from Beverly, Massachusetts, a seaside town 20 minutes north of Boston. Nobody sings. Most of the time we play heavy, other times quite soft. We always try to play with heart. So far we have recorded three albums. The process is always evolving - Thanks for exploring it with us.
Since 2006, Caspian have performed over 500 concerts, bringing their music to 30+ countries stretching over 3 continents. The band are currently writing their 4th studio album, set for release in 2012.
I really like these guys - I find their music to be a great blend of Eno-esque ambience and Pink floyd delivery with a gritty but powerful brilliance that reminds of radiohead and tool but all the while maintaining their own sound.

The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die
