In April 2012, they released a 4-track EP, "Young, Gifted & Blue," which hit no. 1 on the iTunes Blues Chart and ignited the interest of record companies. The band also scored a minor radio hit in Ireland with their version of Bo Diddley's "You Can't Judge A Book By It's Cover." Elton John, Jeff Beck, Paul Well, and Dave Grohl are all known fans of the band. The Hooks Keith Mulligan, Ronan Mulligan, Colin Delaney, Lance Geng, and Chet Hamby. -From San Francisco, California. -Formed in Sligo, Ireland in 2003, this fresh rock group relocated to SF in 2004, bringing with them a wave of beachy, laid-back rock. Gang vocals and poignant lyrics echo the sentiments of the 80's, while their guitar riffs skirt the psychedelic side of the 90's, making for a catchy, refreshing call back to some older styles. The Hooks "Flying Colors" (Official) from David Weber on Vimeo. Fritz Montana David Marshall, Kevin Logan, and Matthew Hagarty. -From San Francisco/San Jose, California. -Our story begins amidst the backdrop of the late 90's- boy bands were in control, Clinton was romping in the White House, and Leonardo DiCaprio was slipping into the abyss of the Atlantic. With a pocketful of ambition and a long road to puberty, three young ment ook it upon themselves to dedicate their lives to the betterment of American music. Unbeknownst to these young men, they would later meet, drink some beer, and write songs that would influence the course of history and change the face of rock music forever. Makin' waves and takin' names, Fritz Montana exists to disrupt the status quo, challenge authority, and make some damn fine music. |
