Overwhelming Colorfast
Bob Reed, Dan Reed, Heather Millward, and Nick Millward.
-From Antioch, California
-A piledrivign pop-punk band from the San Francisco suburb of Antioch, CA, Overwhelming Colorfast was a vehicle for Bob Reed, who was the band's sole permament member. Reed looked like D. Boon from the Minutemen and sang like Bob Mould in his Husker Du days, but there was a Buzzcocks-like love for sweet pop mixed in with his punky guitar roar.

After a deubt 7", "It's Tomorrow," on the tiny indie Sympathy for the Record Industry in 1991, Overwhelming Colorfast signed with Relativity Records and released '92s self-titled debut, produced by the hot record maker of the moment, Butch Vig (Nirvana, Sonic Youth, etc.).

The years since have seen numerous lineup changes, a number of great records, and at least one breakup. Now Overwhelming Colorfast is back, and they're better than ever.

Melissa Cruz
-From the Bay Area, California.
-Melissa Cruz is a Bay Area-based flamenco professional and has been a full-time flamenco artist and instructor for the past 12 years. A versatile artist who grew up studying piano, guitar, and drums, Cruz is a much sought-after guest artist in the loca music scene, as she adds an new dimension of professionalism and immersion to every performance.

Oranger
Mike Drake, Matt Harris, Patrick Main, John Hofer, and Bob Reed.
-From San Francisco, California.
-Representing ingenious kaleidoscopic conceptions, supported by guitar strains inspired on the foremost indie pop preferences, Oranger qualified as an additional rock psychedelia revival band in the late '90s.
Oranger's set formed in San Francisco in 1997 with Mike Drake, Jim Lindsay, and Matt harris. All three had previous band experience; while Drake and Harris were a part of the set of Overwhelming Colorfast, Lindsay played with the Stick Figures. At the time, the band relied on Chad Dyer on bass, before Harris was a full-time member. The year after, the crew made their first knockout while performing at the San Francisco Noise Pop Festival. It was then that Dyer decided to leave, establishing Oranger as a trio. The Bay Area team then decided it was time to do their first recordings and as a result, Doorway to Norway, their debut album released on the Pray for Mojo label, hit the record stores still in 1998. Amazing Grease reissued the album in 1999. Around this time the band added keyboardist Patrick Main to the lineup and began recording their first album. The Quitevibrationland was issued in 2000. They switched labels and shifted members over the years, and in 2005, the group streamlined their sound and that year's New Comes and Goes on Eenie Meenie represents a finely-tuned and focused group that's ready to rock.

Titan Ups
Mikel Davenport, Bob Reed, Bill Cramer, Dave Leonard, Jenny Hale, Carrol Ashby, and Mark Gordon.
-From San Francisco, California.
-Titan Ups is an SF rocksteady revivalist group, who have established themselves in the Bay Area as one of the pillars of early reggae and rocksteady jams. Laid-back but incredibly professional, this tight group of musicians works together in perfect harmony to make solid, funky rocksteady.

Slouching Stars
Nick Scramaglia, Doug Lippi, Allan Moon, Richard Marshall, and Nick Dumitriu.
-From San Francisco, California.
-Slouching Stars was born in 2009 when former members of the rock band Carlos! decided it was time to reconvene and expand on the sound that made them pioneers of SF's Noise Pop scene.
