 Dark Electric Dance Rock

Little Galaxies
Jeanna Fournier, Amir Eshraghi, Brian Sumwalt, Adam Yasmin.
-From Venice, California.
-Listening to Little Galaxies is a kaleidoscope of dreamy melodies, shimmering soundscapes and infectious rhythms. It feels like "warm waves lapping over you, watching stars shoot across the sky" (Kathleen Wirt, Owner 4th Street Recording Studios). Every second is atmospheric, emotional, organic, and inspired.

Called "newbies to know" by Buzzbands, and nominated Deli LA artist of the month, the Venice-based quartet is quickly making a buzsz in the LA music scene with the release of their debut album, Patterns, last October. The album is filled to the brim with dimensionally textured instrumentation and a soaring female vocal that takes you on an intimate journey through universal themes and introspective subjects, while paying tribute to psychedelic rock, folk, and soul.

Sunbeam Rd.
Trevor Hacker, Harrison Pollock, and Clive Hacker.
-From San Francisco, California.
-Sunbeam Rd.,a Bay Area three-piece, craft a tense and expansive sound via psychedelic guitars, purposeful melodies, and restraint. Willing to fall apart completely exploring the margins of harmonic rock, their live shows can toe the edge of cacophony. At their best they reach into hook-laden, fuzz-saturated trance states.

The band juxtaposes the concerns of three distinct songwriters, all hailing from the same small town, and all recent art school graduates. The band carves new spaces out of old friendships, striving to document strange new dialogues in sound.

Crashing Hotels
Ao Anderson and Tony Bednar.
-From San Francisco, California.
-Crashing Hotels is a dark electric dance rock duo from San Francisco. Melodic and brooding, Crashing Hotels produces a sensual, dark soundscape that can leave the hair on the back of your neck standing on end. Heavy rhythms drive forward melancholic guitar lines and listless synth beats as dance rhythms weave in and out, producing an introspective and mellow yet startlingly catchy and dancey sonic force.
