With his enlistment up, Munro returned to his hometwon of Boston and discovered an impressive number of fans, prompting the genesis of the aptly-named indie rock band Air Traffic Controller. With electro-pop style and orchestral prowess, ATC's compositions are rooted by unforgettable pop sensibilities in the vein of Petty, McCartney, and Springsteen. Munro keeps it honest, with autobiographical lyrics and well-crafted storytelling reminiscent of classic singer/songwriters such as Paul Simon and Cat Stevens. The Tragic Thrills Zach Porter, Cameron Quiseng, Chris Morrison, Ans Gibson, and Gabe Rudner. -From San Diego, California. -This San Diego indie outfit is comprised of seasoned musicians with national and international touring experience, and successful track records with both major and independent music labels. Together, the band members break away from their legacies to rally behind the poetic and irreverently romantic songs frontman Zach Porter has crafted. The Tragic Thrills debut album is sublimely modern with skyward, atmospheric anthemics tastefully balanced by poignant and quaint touches like stately cello, crystalline piano, and shimmering guitars. Against this expansive backdrop, Porter sings his powerfully confessional lyrics with rawness and urgency. Fever Charm Arieh Berl, Theo Quayle, Yianni Anastos, and Jared Tyler Gagarin. -From Oakland, California. -Fever Charm is an Oakland-based rock band that combines indie and punk to play their own brand of West Coast rock & roll music. Fever Charm is living proof that West Coast rock isn't dead, and they prove it with every catchy guitar riff and heavy drum beat. Their music sits on a solid foundation of classic rock, built up with modern indie musical sensibility, and topped off with a hint of soul and surf rock. Their music is youthful and restless, with classic themes of growing up and the struggle to break through the norm. |
