In June of 2006, they headlined a two week tour of Spain in support of an eponymous split CD/10". The Magician EP, their fourth overall release, is a fad-free snapshot of a band that's constantly morphing from a dragon, to a butterfly, to blinding white light, to a bird, to Godzilla, and back again, often within the space of just one song. Their sound on the Magician EP puts them in company with artists like Pink Floyd, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver, Built to Spill and just a pinch of early U2. Ten Days New Tyler Michael - Vocals/Guitars (@tylerdaysnew) Patrick Fain - Bass/Vocals (@patdaysnew) Kenny James - Drums (@kennydaysnew) -from Mountain View, California -Tyler Michael and Kenny James formed Ten Days New in March of 2008. After 8 months of searching and temporary bassists they finally crossed paths with Patrick Fain at a local show in November of the same year. From that point on Ten Days New began focusing on writing new material, playing shows, and refining their sound. Their debut EP "Saving The World" released in 2010 and features a combination of powerful vocal harmonies, hard-hitting drums, and memorable lyrics. Following the release Ten Days New played a string of shows & won 1st place in the 49th annual Hayward Area Recreation District battle of the bands in 2012. Following their victory they began writing and preparing to go back into the studio. Ten Days New entered the studio in the fall of 2013 to record their sophomore album "No Place Like Home". This album features 30 minutes of a more refined and focused Ten Days New sound. "No Place Like Home" will be releasing in 2014.
