MC Lars
-From San Francisco, California.
-"It isn't easy being a post punk laptop rapper. You're forced to lead a genre that doesn't exist, navigate around cookie cutter superstars, push yourself to make music unlike anything else on earth and spend every penny of your own money to get it all done. You meet kids at every tour date who love what you do, yet turn on MTV and see homogenized puppets that regurgitate their genres and miles piles of dough in the process. You push boundaries of DIY and give major labels the middle finger. You hope (and know) that his will be all worth it some day."

MC Lars is a member of what he dubs the "iGeneration," a group born and raised in the time of the Ninja Turtles, cassette tapes and new wave music, who now live in the age of Gossip Girls, iPhones and screamo bands. These are the kids who have grown up using the internet as a part of their every day life. They can conveniently carry 300K songs in their pocket, but are faced with the glooming fact that the world's oil supply and social security will both run out in their lifetime. MC Lars is the hero of this new generation, addressing their thoughts and every day struggles with music.

Mr. Kind
Brian Bergeron, Jon Devoto, Geoff McCann, Matt Roads, and Peter Smith.
-From Oakland, California.
-Oakland-based Mr. Kind has drawn comparisons to the literate lyricism of The National, the collaborative studio spirit of Dr. Dog and the dynamic energy of Arcade Fire. Since the release of their first EP, OK, the band has moved from raw, americana influenced rock to the more dense, electronic leanings of their recently released second EP, Mr. Kind. The confessional lyrical style approach introduced in OK is evident as well, with additional inquiry and observations about living in a distratcing and demanding contemporary society.

Rivvrs
-From San Francisco, California.
-Born Brandon Zahursky, Rivvrs is a singer/songwriter based in SF. With an eclectic blend of folk, pop, and elements of soul, Rivvrs blurs the lines of traditional genres; often drawing comparisons to such artists as Ray Lamontagne, Jackie Greene, and Paul Simon.

With a tamed rasp that hovers between a soft whisper and a booming roar, Rivvrs regularly performs around the SF Bay Area, recently opening multiple dates in Napa during Jewel's "Greatest Hits" tour. After a brief stint under his former band name River Shiver, Rivvrs is currently recording his debut EP, due for release sometime in 2014.
