They are influenced by dream pop, shoegaze, rock, folk, and synth wave recordings. Soundscapes, guitars, and synthesizers play a big part in their new LP, Wake Up, which comes out on August 19th. Eitch HannaH -from SF & NYC - Songs about cosmic reflection. A curious girl on an Altronipop mission. Telling a musical story driven by awe and wonder, Eitch (pronounced "H"), works to birth love out of indifference, find the beauty in the neglected, and realize the connection in everything. Fusing a blend of alternative, electronic, and pop - coined "Altronipop" - Eitch has created an imaginative sonic structure, sending tantalizing lyrics & vocals through an introspective ropes course. Her performances will provoke you, turn you on, and nourish your mind as she embodies a musical idea both mechanical and otherworldly, yet undeniably human. Phosphene -Rachel Frankel, Matt Hemmerich, Kevin Kaw -Phosphene is an Oakland-based trio consisting of Rachel Frankel (guitar, vox), Kevin Kaw (bass), and Matt Hemmerich (drums). Their sound is an amalgam of folk, shoegaze, and indie rock. |
