Emporia Ben Barsocchini - Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Lyrics Connor Burke - Guitar Will Hettel - Drums -Half Moon Bay, CA -Emporia is a band hailing from Half Moon Bay in Northern California. Taking influence from grunge, progressive rock and punk styles, an eclectic yet cohesive style follows that brings about a unique sound. Starting as a project between Will Hettel and Ben Barsocchini as way to culminate their final year in high school, the two began writing songs to eat up time before college. The result was the 2 song demo "A Town Called Charybdis" which threw the pair into determination to write and create more together. Through the school year writing continued and an acoustic side of the band was formed via the intensive and voracious songwriting attitude of Ben Barsocchini. They have since released their debut full band EP entitled "Lighthouse" as well as another acoustic split EP called "Entwined". |
