The Wytches
Kristian Bell
Gianni Honey
Daniel Rumsey
-The Wytches are an English three-piece surf-psych band formed in 2011 in Peterborough, and now based in Brighton. The band consists of singer-songwriter Kristian Bell, drummer Gianni Honey and bassist Daniel Rumsey.
-Their debut album Annabel Dream Reader is released in late August 2014.

-The three-piece accomplish a dark and heady sound that embraces the black arts and the more extreme limits of rock, but which is never prescriptively macabre. Far from it, the band displays a broadness of influences – all at once the songs reference surf, grunge, metalcore, spy movie scores.

Bell admits to being inspired more by singer-songwriters (Elliott Smith, Leonard Cohen, Roland S. Howard) than specific bands.

Not ones to rest on their laurels, The Wytches admit a strong desire to erase and ‘switch up’ their sound with each album; more intricate, more instrumentally diverse.

Thick Red Wine
Mike Wojciechowski
-from SF
-San Francisco artist Mike Wojciechowski's (Whoa-juhh-house-key) winding and eccentric narratives draw inspiration from 5th grade recess fights, middle school dance erections, college house party disasters, philosophers and boxed wine, among other things.
Wojciechowski's sophomore album under the Thick Red Wine moniker - the forthcoming Homesick EP - was recorded in Philadelphia before moving the project to San Francisco. It's a raw full-band indie rock affair that extols the gritty survival instinct of a jaded but determined generation.
Always a staunch supporter of accepting people for who they are, celebrating difference, and supporting our society's underrepresented and marginalized voices, Wojciechowski has performed for old and new friends across the country at traditional venues as well as campfires, secret beaches, and countless house venues.
Regardless of the venue, Thick Red Wine thrives on a goosebump-inducing intimacy between audience and performer that's nearly impossible to replicate on a recording.

Rich Girls
Luisa Black - vox, guitar
August Churchill - guitar
Chris Sipe - drums
-from SF

Rich Girls started as the solo project of Luisa Black with an EP release — 'The One I Want' — on Tricycle Records in 2013. 'Fiver' is due out on Breakup Records in October 2014. Sounds like: garage-y torch songs from the dark end of the street.

Garage, extra reverb, suits.

"A joyously dark example of noise-pop with vague undercurrents of early New Order’s enthralling brand of atmospheric doom pop." - The VPME
"Jesus & Mary Chain inspired rock that filled the room with an epic amount of feedback and distortion, only to be grounded by the stunning vocals of Luisa Black..." - SpinningPlatters
"2014 Band to Watch" - The Bay Bridged
