mr. Gnome
Nicole Barille - vocals & guitar Sam Meister - drums, piano & back-up vocals
-from Cleveland, OH
-Their fourth album, The Heart of a Dark Star, will be released on November 18th, 2014 on El Marko Records!
Forging beauty out of chaos with their explosive fusing of widescreen concepts and surreal psychedelia since their inception, singer/guitarist Nicole Barille, and drummer/pianist Sam Meister return with the duo hitting an undeniably new energetic peak. Layered vocals, searing guitars, and driving rhythms transport the listener into another world -- or, quite literally into The Heart of a Dark Star or the "belly of the beast" as they say -- which comes in and out of focus but never loses its cinematic eye. In other words, mr. Gnome is still very much operating in their conceptual wheelhouse, but this time their approach is leaner and the gut punches are swift.

Young Tongue
-Austin TX's indie rock fivesome, Young Tongue (previously The Baker Family), consists of husband and wife Stu and Liz Baker along with Nathan Ribner, Darryl Schomberg II, and Travis Larrew. Founded in 2014 after six years of performing and releasing music as The Baker Family, the group released their freshman EP 'Cat Calls' in February, 2014, and plans to debut their full length entitled "Death Rattle" in November, 2014.
-Young Tongue complicates the earthy momentum of their percussion-driven sound with surprising touches — an airy omnichord melody or a jagged guitar solo. Their sound generally ranges from progressive indie rock to dance-infused dream pop.

Survival Guide
Emily Whitehurst
-from Petaluma, CA
-Survival Guide is an artistic endeavor featuring vocalist and keyboardist Emily Whitehurst. The music falls somewhere between indie rock and electronic, always with strong vocals and a sprinkle of pop.
Originally formed as a duo, Survival Guide started in northern California. The band released two 7” vinyl records on Side With Us Records: “Hot Lather Machine” and “Wildcat”. The music video for “Prohibition: Pts 1 & 2” was featured online with Filter, Nylon, and AP Magazines. Jaycen McKissick became an inactive member in early 2014, although he and Emily have written their upcoming full-length album together and plan on writing more Survival Guide songs as a team.
