Metal- Sludge, Thrash Joshua Cook & The Key Of Now Joshua Cook, Nick Fishman, Tommy Folen, and anyone brave enough to jump in a moving TARDIS and go... -from Oakland, CA -Former lead guitarist and back-up vocalist of The Soft White Sixties, Joshua Cook is a veteran of soul-infused rock and roll. He introduced his solo project, The Key of Now, with the debut single “All Bad Things" in 2013, harnessing a stripped-back, power pop sound along with drummer Nick Fishman and bassist Tommy Folen. Driving each blues-flavored tune with attitude-drenched vocals and dirty guitar licks, Joshua quickly solidified himself into San Francisco's burgeoning music community with a month-long residency at The Milk Bar. Just over a month later, he unleashed his long-awaited debut solo album Misadventures Part One, on November 7, 2013. Fueled by Joshua's colorful history, the record is the sum of hundreds of moments in time, a sonic snapshot of the countless narratives that have shaped him as a songwriter.
