He is a contemporary member of the underground indie rock and indie folk musical scenes, and his influences range from older indie artists such as Neutral Milk Hotel, Elliott Smith and Pavement to more mainstream and well known acts such as Nirvana and Bob Dylan. His eighth studio album, Bubblegum, made with the contribution of his backing band The Goddamn Band, was produced by Jesse Lacey of Brand New. Dads John Bradley: Vocals/Drums/Bass Scott Scharinger: Vocals/Guitar -from New Brunswick, New Jersey -It’s surprising that DADS, an emo band from New Jersey, only has two members in it. Scott and John blend all of their ideas together, being able to write their songs and make them sound just full enough to give the same impression as a band with four or five members. - Field Mouse Rachel, Andrew, Saysha, Tim -from Brooklyn, NY / Philadelphia, PA. -Field Mouse is a four-piece dream pop band from Brooklyn, NY. Seamlessly interweaving influences from shoegaze, indie, and power pop, Field Mouse offers lush sonic textures and expansive soundscapes to complement the airy, wistful vocals of singer/guitarist Rachel Browne. Through complex and delicate harmonies, the songwriting of Browne and guitarist Andrew Futral breathes new life into common themes of lost love and renewal. |
