Formed in the summer of 2005 by lead vocalist and bass player Roxy, they have been burning up the west coast with their high-energy live performances ever since. Known by many as one of the hardest working bands in the Bay Area, they will often rev-it-up for 7-8 shows a month. Death'n'Taxes Vocals- Tucker Hubbard, Guitars- Kriss Gerhardt, Bass- Ryan Gardner, Drums- Tany Fillari -from Chico, CA Death n' Taxes are an experimental, rock n' roll band with one foot in the past, and the other in the future. We're creating an iconoclastic, counter-cultural image, using bi-polar, swinging vocal lines counter-pointing over virtuoso guitar-worship, jazz-inspired bass lines and orgasmic made-in-the-shade drumming from a different generation altogether. We're future bound anti-hero's with a distorted star spangled banner for an anthem, and we also like to party a little bit.
