The music evokes late 70s New York, mid 60s California, and the decaying midwest that he grew up in. The band's lineup has included Jeff Nelson (Minor Threat) and Todd Swalla (Necros, Laughing Hyenas) on drums, Mahlon Orrin (Black Dahlia Murder) and Aki Yoshi (the Seshen) on bass, and Erika Kuester and Mahesh Rao (the Seshen) on keyboards. Originally the band was based in Toledo Ohio, where Tony partnered with Jeff Nelson to record the debut album Adventures in Contentment in the sprawling Victorian Paddock Mansion. The results are available on Dischord and Adult Swim Records. Fast Piece is now based in the San Francisco Bay area. L&K Leah Walters and Konane Sky - from Half Moon Bay, CA L&K is an original rock collaboration created by Leah Walters and Konane Sky. The duo began with a unified resolve - remain as authentic as possible by not conforming to any finalized box of musical genre. After beginning as a duo, L&K brought in the addition of drums and bass to fully encapsulate their musical vision. Leah’s distinctive and soulful vocals combine with Konane’s expressive and gritty guitar to create a rich, haunting and unrelenting soundscape that will captivate and entrance listeners. With influences ranging from Classical to Gritty Rock, L&K’s unique and evocative sound invokes a beautiful yet dirty spirit all their own.
