The Tet Holiday Austin Gibbons, Andrew Ledford, Robert Pruett -from Oakland, CA -The Tet Holiday is an Oakland-based band featuring Andrew Ledford (vocals, guitars), Austin Gibbons (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Robert Pruett (drums, backing vocals). Formed in 2006, with three sequentially numbered EPs to their credit, they will be releasing their debut album, Statues, in early 2016. Drawing on influences from R.E.M. to My Bloody Valentine to Nirvana, their songs balance the manic energy of rock'n'roll with earworm melodies, waves of distortion, bittersweet introspection, and pure volume. Sister Grizzly Tom Grigor:Guitar/Vox, Justice Israel: Drums, Eric Mai (White Thunder): Bass, Jordan Griggs: Lead Guitar -from Oakland, CA -Formed in Oakland, CA in 2005 by singer/guitarist Tom Grigor and drummer Justice Israel, Sister Grizzly self-released two EPs: All of This is True in 2009 and On Nights Like This in 2011. After years of performing as a gritty two-piece, Grigor and Israel decided to bring in additional musicians to pursue a more fully realized sound. Bassist Eric Mai and lead guitarist/keyboardist Jordan Griggs (The Cushion Theory) joined the band in 2013 and shortly thereafter, the group began writing songs and recorded their debut full-length, Truth & Consequence which was released in July 2014. |
