These road dogs have tirelessly toured coast-to-coast taking their music to the people. Between the road and the studio, BALLYHOO! have crafted a sound distinctly their own; fresh, fun, and embodied by the soul of the party lifestyle. Lead singer and guitarist, Howi Spangler, has a reputation for mixing slick lyrics with his smooth but powerful voice. Drummer Donald Spangler lays out the hard-hitting beats. Scott Vandrey layers in the finishing touches to the band’s signature sound on keys. The band recently welcomed Nick Lucera as their new bass player. BALLYHOO!’s unique yet melodic blend of genres, along with their hardcore devotion to the road and their fans have pitched them into snowballing success. The band has performed with a myriad of national touring acts; 311, Slightly Stoopid, SOJA, The Dirty Heads, Matisyahu, and more. Tour highlights include the 2011 311 Pow Wow Festival, the 2012 and 2013 311 Caribbean Cruise, Bamboozle 2012, 2012 Charm City Music Festival, 2013 Cali Roots Festival & the entire 2012 Vans Warped Tour. In 2011, after concluding the Last Calls and Liabilities tour with respected contemporaries, Pepper, they were honored with being included on the ever-popular Hollister Holiday Playlist. They were listed on MTV’s Top 100 Bands to Watch and even featured 2 downloadable songs on the popular video game ROCK BAND. The B Foundation Pat Stevenson: Vocals/Guitar, Jason Moorehead: Bass, Ian McGrath: Drums, Gyl Bonus: Guitar -from Los Angeles, CA -Southern California’s hottest rising surf roots/rock band, THE B FOUNDATION draws influence from reggae rhythms, teen angst, and the salty waves of the Pacific Ocean. With three albums under their belt and a growing nationwide fanbase, The B Foundation has become a touring machine. The band spent Fall 2008 on the road opening for indie giant SLIGHTLY STOOPID playing 1,000 to 2,500 capacity rooms from coast to coast, coming off a nationwide co headlining summer Surf Roots Tour with Ballyhoo!. The band also toured extensively in Japan earlier this year playing 12 sold out shows! The stage is where The B Foundation truly shines and their live show is what sets them apart. Bands line up to tour with the B because of the infectious energy and passion of lead singer Patrick Stevenson, bass player Jason Moorehead, lead guitarist Joe Fkany Jr. and drummer Ian McGrath. Kosha Dillz Kosha Dillz -from New Jersey to LA to Israel -world class improv artist that has recieved major attention for his dedication to success. He has played every kind of gig,ranging from shows with Rza of the Wu Tang Clan and Matisyahu, to the Legendary Yo gabba Gabba childrens show. He is most known for his ability to improv in front of thousands of people an rap in hebrew and spanish combined. |
