Alpha Six Romeo
Dennis Bestafka (Vocals & Guitar), Tarabud (Keyboards), Glory Dole (Bass)
-from Oakland, CA,

-"Alpha Six Romeo is the promising new indie-electro rock project of singer-songwriter Dennis Bestafka who you may know as the guitarist of formative Bay area dreampop band, Sentinel. We were pleasantly surprised to hear the pre-release single which arrived at the end of February, and the promises of an album on the way sometime in March with live shows to follow around San Francisco in May. The rapid-fire guitar hooks really sink in immediately on first listen, which doesn’t surprise as Dennis is one of the best guitar players we’ve heard in the independent space. As the guitar-work creates a dreamlike bouyancy on “Want it Back”, the vocals viscerally peak during the chorus and emotional shout-back of the song’s title. It’s a solid effort for the new project, which includes Tarabud on keyboards (also of Sentinel) and Glory Dole on Bass."

In Letter Form
Peter Dosanjh: Bass, James Levis: Guitar, Andres Lopez: Drums, Percussion,
Eric Miranda: Vox, Synth and Guitar
-from San Francisco, CA

-"Musically, In Letter Form’s touchstones are clear, as well.  The Cure, Joy Division, Bauhaus, along with New Order, Depeche Mode, and The Jesus and Mary Chain – they can all be heard on “Wait Now.”  But where many artists influenced by this important English musical moment fall short, In Letter Form excels.  Theirs is that rare, reverential sound that not only makes you want to revisit classic artists, but pushes you to want to know more of the story behind the intriguing new band inspired by them. Vocalist Eric Miranda has a style that reminds me of the late, great Mark Sandman of Morphine."

Death Party At The Beach
Lance Derouin - Vox, Guitar, Nathan Webb - Guitar, Mark Johnston - Bass, Ray Bell - Drums
-from Sacramento, CA

-"Formed in Sacramento, CA 2013 "Death Party At The Beach" began as the solo project of Lance Derouin. His compositions were created in self-fulfillment as a means of branching from the familiar sounds surrounding the area at the time. Collaborating with Nathan Webb offered a new-found opportunity to bring the music into a live setting and expand the possibilities of their future. They quickly began a steady eruption of writing and performing as a duo for two years. After releasing their self titled EP, Mark Johnston and Ray Bell were recruited as the assertive rhythm section they required. Currently in the process of producing their first full length record with influences cited as "reverb, synthesizers and catchy melodies" you can expect a colorful display of musicianship and creativity."
