Be Calm Honcho
Shannon - Vocals, Jacob - Guitar, Alex - Bass, Mikey - Drums
from San Francisco, CA

San Francisco quartet Be Calm Honcho is on some kind of genre defying musical mission. “Falling somewhere between dive-bar-stomp and showtune surf” (CMJ) “Be Calm Honcho mixes the warmth of West Coast pop with a heavy dose of jangly indie rock and a pinch of bluesy soul for a sound that’s nothing short of magical.” (indie-music.com) With their debut album released July 2014 on Crossbill Records, Jacob, Mikey, Alex and Shannon have crafted a record that “ranges from aggressive to docile and these kids are just as ready to strike as they are to recoil.”(In Your Speakers)

Brother Moses
James - Moses - Matthew - John-Lewis
-from Fayetteville, AR

-"Brother Moses was formed in 2014 by University of Arkansas classmates James Lockhart (vocals/guitar), and Moses Gomez (guitar). After recording and self-releasing an EP, Thanks for All Your Patience, and adding Matthew Heckmann (bass/vocals) and John-Lewis Anderson (guitar) to the lineup, the band toured extensively across the Midwest and the East coast, playing nearly 40 shows in 4 months. In October 2015, Brother Moses traveled to Los Angeles, CA to record their follow-up EP, with the help of producer Raymond Richards (Local Natives, Avid Dancer, Ferraby Lionhearted). The EP titled Legends caught the attention of label Missing Piece Records who will be releasing it in August. The band has shared the stage with Diplo, BORNS, and others at The Springtime of Youth Festival, and are embarking on another coast-to-coast tour ahead of Legends.”-

Vanwave
Allison Kane (Keys), Chelsea Nobbs (Drums),
Kimi Yamamoto (guitar), Monti Thaboua (vox)
-from San Francisco, CA

-Hailing from San Francisco, Vanwave’s sound is that of the modern sirens call, infused with electric guitar leads, and folk inspired harmonies. Their dreamy sound is a result of their native northern and southern California roots. Most recently they’ve added member Allison Kane on keys and now have Sea on percussion, creating a special dynamic between four leading women.
Press

"The harmonies of the guitar players and bass player intertwine perfectly – a flawless execution of vocal control and songwriting technique. Nothing is too much and nor is their minimal style too little. This is vocal-pop a la 1960s Spector but with space to breathe and a lot less murdery." / THE BAY BRIDGED
