TaughtMe (solo set)
Blake Henderson
-from San Francisco, CA

-Musal struggles of Utah native Blake Henderson, who over the past decade has released 4 albums and toured the US and europe. The work is characterized by a raw human-ness and dramatic urgency. Themes of guilt and innocence pervade. Blake is also a producer, working out of his studio in the Bay area, California.

YEYEY
ben shepard
-from Brooklyn, NY

-Ben Shepard’s latest effort is an exercise in contrast, spanning territories alien and natural, both stark and verdant.  Assembled in Brooklyn and San Francisco, the record’s lush instrumentation surrounds an elegiac cast of supporting vocalists, contributed by members of M83, Farallons, and Gregor Samsa.   Mercury Rev’s Jeff Mercel provides drums, with Juilliard master violinist Sarah Koenig-Plonskier comprising the overdubbed string section.  A colorful collage of texture and shape, ‘The Vision’ is intricate, woven together like a melodic tapestry.  The songs evolve over time, revealing new rooms with meticulous landscapes.

Children Of Pop
-from Houston, TX-
-children of pop is dead. After the Chill Mega Chill release of Fiesta/Drift in the Winter of 2013, the project toured as a band off and on + played a few opening slots at some amazing festivals + headlined some less than stellar parties. Spent a ton of $ and hit snooze more still. children of pop spent most of 2015 in the lab w the pen and the pad trying to get this damn label off + recording/producing 3 full length records: 1 as children of pop, another 1 as Get A Life w Yuuki Mathews (The Shins, David Bazan, Sufjan Stevens) and another 1 as Guess Genes w Sergio Trevino (Buxton).

alder
-from San Francisco, CA

-"alder is a brooding cloud of wailing synths, sub-bass and vinyl crackle. Pitched vocal melodies glide on thundering arrangements, a bloody mix of Shoegaze pop and bedroom trap."
