Presley began his career playing with the hardcore punk band The Nerve Agents. In 2004, Presley founded the psychedelic rock band Darker My Love. In 2006 he joined The Fall, playing on the LP Reformation Post TLC, and while no longer a member, he still occasionally guests on the band's albums. Since 2010, Presley has released music under the name White Fence. As of August 2014, under that name, he has released six studio albums, two live albums, and collaborative albums with Ty Segall and Cate Le Bon. Mayya & The Revolutionary Hell Yeah! -Spencer Owings on lead guitar, Lucas Fendert on drums, Evan Anderson on bass, n Mayya on lead vox/rhythm guitar -from San Francisco, CA -Mayya moved with her family from St.Petersburg, Russia to San Francisco around the age of 2, and has been livin in the same apartment in the Tenderloin since. Growing up in this environment has shaped her world view and influenced her songwriting. But she is not always cooped up in the TL... Goin' on adventures with friends into nature n whatnot, has also been of help in many ways.. such as in the formation of "Lands End" (last song off debut album Tea & Chocolate), written from the perspective of being a homeless person who lives in Lands End. Though there are many things one can be saddened by, Mayya generally maintains a positive outlook on life and tries to be as understanding of others' situations as possible. Kamikaze Palm Tree Cole Berliner and Dylan Hadley -from San Francisco, CA -Kamikaze Palm Tree is a Noise/ Surf/ Psych Rock band from San Francisco California, throwing various DIY generator shows throughout the Bay Area. Angry Asian Abrasion Gus Hurteau, Kevin Xu, Timothy Mah -from Oakland, CA -Angry Asian Abrasion is a Bay Area band formed over the Summer of 2016. The trio made up of Gus Hurteau, Kevin Xu and Timothy Mah all met and played jazz together as members of the instrumental department at The Oakland School For The Arts (OSA). Gus Hurteau, drummer, also plays in the Sharp Four Quartet. Kevin Xu, guitarist, is also making the jump to the audio production and engineering realm of the music industry. Timothy Mah, guitarist, also plays with the San Francisco Rock Project House Band. With plenty of Jazz having filled their playing time at OSA, the trio looked for and found an alternative genre that defines the sound of the band, progressive metal. |
