The band formed in early December of 2012 in California and consists of members Dylan Greig on lead & rhythm guitar/vocals, Bethanie Marie on drums/vocals, and Keith Dilliplane on bass guitar. A variety of bassists have joined with the band at a number of performances on different occasions over the years. Coyote, the original bassist for the band played for a short time in Arcata as well as San Fransisco with Bethanie & Dylan; together they recorded Far Far Out. Crown Chakra has toured the California coast performing at venues such as the Mateel Community Center in Redway(Emerald Cup 2012),The Pheonix Theatre in Petaluma, Ocean Grove in Trinidad, Golden Gate Park in San Fransisco, The Blue Lagoon in Santa Cruz, Carbones in Monterey, The Trout Farm in Felton, the Monterey Fair Grounds, the Planet Gemini in Monterey as well as The Blue Fin. (Bassist) Steven King performed with the band in 2013 and together they recorded at Hopland Waves Studio composing essential pieces to their first album "Living Water" and from there they went on to perform at Wheels and the Tap House. (Bassist) Mark Kaltenbacher played with the band at the East Village Lounge early on in the year 2016; together they created the song "Liquid Power Fuse." (Bassist) Anthony Archer performed with the band on one occasion at the Planet Gemini in Monterey, Ca and together they composed the song "In My Eyes". George, an acquaintance of the pair, played a show with the band at The Blue Fin in Monterey, Ca; together they played at a couple of benefits in Seaside and previous to that performance was a show at the East Village Coffee Lounge where the trio was accompanied by two other members, one being Keith Dilliplane on keys and the other was Ricky Swete on rhythm/lead guitar; this was the band's very first performance with five members and later that night the group played another show at the Press Club. Keith Dilliplane is the current bassist for the group and performed at The Blue Fin in Monterey, Ca; there they were temporarily joined with Tommy Peiper on keys. Recent concerts in California include shows at The Dojo in Seaside, The Pocket in Santa Cruz & El Verano Inn In Sonoma(Joined With Jake Barrett on bass/keys). Crown Chakra is available for booking. SEED LING -from the Bay Area, CA -Heartbreaking vocals, dreamy guitar, and luscious drums. SEED LING is an indie pop trio with electronica roots coming out of The SF Bay. Planted when singer Rachel, who had been a solo act for years, wanted to create a bigger show with live instruments. Their affecting sounds come out pure and unhurried to give space for your harmless swaying that it results in. The Minnesota Child Ethan Buckner -from Berkeley, CA -The Minnesota Child is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Berkeley, California. His reflective and conscious music blends indie/folk with blues, pop, and rock. Melodic vocals, intricate riffs, and percussive guitar mark his unique style. Songs from his latest album The Captain received critical acclaim from the OakTown Music Festival in 2013 ad 2014. He is currently working on his first full-length record, Fireflies, set to be released in late 2016. |
