Made up of singer and guitarist Brent Walsh, guitarist Ian Pedigo, bassist Chris Hinkley, and drummer Blake Dahlinger, the quartet made its debut in 2008 with a self-titled EP released on Adamant. The band eventually got the attention of Equal Vision Records, which released the band's second EP, Karma Never Sleeps, in 2012. Their first full-length, Satori, arrived on the label in 2013. The boundaries between broadminded melodies, chest-thumping rhythmic momentum and guitar lines as meticulously craft as they are undeniably catchy have come down. Artifex Pereo draw from a deep well of sonic exhibitionism, resulting in a body of work as diverse as an iPod on shuffle and yet cohesive, unique and readily identifiable. Picturesque Kyle Hollis- Vocals, Zach Williamson- Guitar Dylan Forrester Guitar Robert Mote- Bass, Cole Clark- Drums -from Lexington, KY -Picturesque has signed to Equal Vision Records. The Lexington, KY-based quintet is led by the truly stunning vocal range and power of frontman Kyle Hollis, and supported by an equally impressive musical blend of rock, post-hardcore and pop influences. To date, Picturesque has shared stages with the likes of Beartooth, SECRETS, and Too Close to Touch and will be announcing Fall and Winter tour plans soon. |
