sea knight
Linda on vox/guitar, Cory on drums, Patrick on guitars, Sami on bass/violin.
-from San Francisco, CA

-Equal parts Pixies/Breeders pop smarts and shoegaze-y Mazzy Star haze... slow building to something much more epic, maybe like a girl pop Godspeed, if that makes any sense. It's definitely indie pop, but with a lush sonic palette, and a propensity for epicry that definitely makes sea knight something special." - Aquarius Records

"This is an edge of your seat band, and will receive my first ever New Britches Award, because after you see sea knight, you'll need some new ones as your old ones will have been blown away." - iHeartSFBands.com

"Quietly captivating, subtly gripping, delicately engrossing... Listen closely and you can pick out some shoegaze, a dash of psychedelia, traces of Sonic Youth angst (especially on 'Concrete' with its pained, questioning refrain) and melodic sensibilities worthy of the Pixies...Fans of minimalist indie rock that can still pack a punch won't want to miss out."- The Bay Bridged

"Oscillating tempos, dreary to bright tones and remarkable howls and wails. Frontwoman Linda Sao’s vocals are much more than a voice but a distinct instrument." – Examiner.com

Father Howl
-from San Francisco, CA
Having survived numerous infractions, tragedies, travesties and catastrophes (including the bay area thrash funk craze, the 89’ quake, the Gary St. Jean era Warriors, and trying to include vocals in their music) these three childhood friends regrouped in 2013 after a long period of cursing each other’s names from afar. The result is an instrumental mix that is more influenced by unwatchable films, sports star felons, bizarre activity witnessed on the streets, stories and footage of animals attacking humans, and aging recluses then it ever will be by anyone who massages the neck of an instrument. They are available for coming of age parties, corporate circle jerks and have a special discount rate for cryptozoological gatherings.
