Powerful drums, grinding, thumping bass, and the articulate blare of the guit half stack at full tilt, NECROVECK is barreling towards you. Filthy Victorian -from San Franciso, CA -Lula Applebruise is a San Francisco based burlesque artist with circus skills including Lyra (aerial hoop) and contortion abilities with a pleasantly incongruous voice that is both unexpected and enjoyable to listen to. The music started with Robley Evans towards the end of 2014 and they decided to form a band. By very good luck and chance two former band mates from Robley's past including Mike Mckevitt on guitar and Erno on drums appeared and they went through some evolutions before stabilizing into a basic four piece Classy Rock band. Lula Applebruise pops up here and there in the local burlesque venues including Hubba Hubba Review, Burlesque at Revival and other events. Mike McKevitt plays in many SF Bay Area bands including Cookie Mongoloid, Los Baņos (Cyclecide bike rodeo band), The Jean Genies, Mongoloid, Mongolounge and plenty more. Erno and Robley were founding members and the rhythm section of Life After Life (Alternative Tentacle Records). Joe Gore Joe Gore -from San Francisco, CA -Joe Gore is a guitar polymath. An ardent character with a curriculum vitae that spans everything from guitar blogger to Editor of Guitar Player magazine, album credits with Tom Waits to touring with PJ Harvey, consultant work with Apple to unique boutique effects pedal designer, and more such stretches of experience than could comfortably be listed here. |
