Baritone vocals, fluid flows, and honest lyrics over hypnotic melodies and pounding drums defines the Bop Alloy sound. Together and individually, they have collaborated with Nujabes, Royce Da 5’9”, Kool Herc, Oddisee, Emancipator, CunninLynguists, Chew Fu, Shing02, Choklate, and Kenichiro Nishihara. Bop Alloy has been featured on Vogue.com, DJBooth.net 2DopeBoyz.com, The Washington City Paper and many other publications, on and offline. They have performed in cities across the US, Japan & Taiwan. Oscar Goldman -from Sonora, CA -Oscar Goldman’s music can best be described as hip-hop with a splash of poetry. His album Six Finger Discount is two and a half years in the making. The Los Angeles native took to the hills of Sonora, CA and began his craft in 2003. What began as a hobby turned into a challenge to create something better than the status quo. Every word has a meaning and a place in his rhymes. His lyrical stylings evoke vivid images personal to him yet anyone will be able to relate. Oscar Goldman is a unique artist in style, sound, and subject matter which speaks volumes.- Idhaz -from San Francisco, CA -singer/songwriter/producer in san francisco comin up, another rut, lowly and wholly living. Heddy Fur -from Oakland, CA -Heddy Fur was born Hayley Shula in the ultra rural town of Swanville, Maine on January 12th, 1984. From a young age she felt connected to nature and the spirit of song, as she would sing in the forest and along to her parent's records with a fake wooden block microphone. She began learning the piano at age six, and would sing and make up songs for her family. At the age of 9 or 10, she was exposed to R&B and New Jack Swing music. She would study the songs and spent most of her time singing along to tapes such as TLC, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and later on Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Aaliyah, and Mary J. Blige. Since living in the Bay, Heddy Fur has worked on many solo and group projects, and is featured on a grip of Hip Hop albums. She is a piano teacher and uses her skills in piano playing to produce instrumentals for film and beats as well. Her deep connection to sound as vibration and the essence of life and expression lead her to get a Certificate in Sound Healing in 2011, and her next project will be an Urban Healing album with one track for each of the seven chakras.
