Tremor Low
Don Bellenger
Fabian Paredes
Ariel Utz
Herve Gross
-from Oakland, CA

-Tremor Low comes from fucking Oakland, California.
They sound like synthesizers, drum machines, delay and distortion pedals in exactly that order.

Tremor Low has been making music since 2009, and have played venues like Great American Music Hall, Bottom of the Hill and Popscene. In 2013, Tremor Low was the resident band at the Beautiful Buzzz SXSW showcase and have released multiple videos to great acclaim. At home, we've shared the stage with Holy Ghost, Moving Units, The Trims, and Parallels.

The band has always been Don Bellenger and Fabian Paredes, and has recently added Herve Gross and Ariel Utz Wirnsberger to synthesizing duties. Tremor Low has always had a flair for the unconventional and is currently pursuing indie band glory in the form of video game scoring while still playing packed shows to audiences in the greater Bay Area.

Band Aparte
Brian Mendoza
James G
Ryan Fairchild
-from Los Angeles, CA

- Employing a brooding blend of nervy post-punk and beachy West Coast goth rock, Los Angeles-based Band Aparte is the brainchild of Brian Mendoza. Inspired by seminal underground bands like Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, the Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen, Sonic Youth, and New Order, the band's clever pairing of gloomy darkwave and big pop hooks eventually landed them at L.A. indie label Manifesto Records.

Intimatchine
Chelsey Rae Holland and Christopher Steven Wormald
-from Los Angeles, CA

-Both scholars in separate performance fields, INTIMΔTCHINE derive from cardinal and mutable differences. Doing it without a crowd since 2008

The Pleasure Routine
Kevin Sofsrud - Lead vocals, guitar
Eric Mcdonald - Rhythm Guitar
Nate Tang - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Kirk Jacob - Bass
Harry Gibbons- Drums
-from Oakland, CA

-Creating a musical language that is both contemporary and timeless, The Pleasure Routine transports its listeners to an alternate realm, where jangly guitars and atmospheric rhythms support the raw and emotional vocals of Kevin Sofsrud and Lauren Kopp, who share their intimate tales of awkward youth, coming of age, and disaffection.

More than just a combination of three guitars, a bass, keys, and drums, along with the occasional harmonica and tambourine, The Pleasure Routine captures a sound – much like The Velvet Underground, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds before them – that is conflicted between optimism, realism, doom and darkness, as evidenced on their 2016 debut LP Sugar Mountain. Feverishly gigging around the Bay Area, The Pleasure Routine gained the attention of Ricky Maymi (The Brian Jonestown Massacre), who produced the sessions for Sugar Mountain, along with engineer Greg Ashley (Gris Gris). The collaboration proved integral to the development of the group, as Maymi helped The Pleasure Routine refine its sound. It also opened the doors to support more established acts like Palma Violets, Public Access T.V., and China’s Carsick Cars.
