DJ Cowgirl Clue ASHLEY ROSE CALHOUN -from Texas/California -FAERIE STOMP. After listening to one track by Cowgirl Clue, you can be assured that she is exactly what the music world needs. Each song is doused in glittering light and diffused through a genie lamp — her music is some of the most sanguine, sunshine-wrapped I’ve ever heard. In bleak times, it’s obviously okay to wallow, but Cowgirl Clue gives us hope that there is happiness right around the corner. Just because Cowgirl Clue makes some of the most fun, airy music you’ve ever heard doesn’t mean you shouldn’t regard her as a serious artist. Calhoun plays multiple instruments and has been honing her craft for many years — of course, she also creates visual art and works with fashion (those go-go boots of hers are an absolute dream.) Distractor -from Costa Mesa, CA Synth Pop, Post punk. A band that doesn't leave the garage much. UNTIL NOW. Slater Nick Beaty -from Orange, CA -Slater is part of the Vada Vada crew. Trap based beats with melodic vocals. DJ Wy@ Shears of The Garden -from Orange County, CA -One half of the twins from the duo The Garden. |
