Layne
-from Los Angeles, CA
-For Layne (“LP”) Putnam, music has always been an autobiographical journey, one influenced as much by her personal experiences as outside forces. From the growing pains of her days as a budding musician deep in search of her truest identity and message to her blossomed sound of today, LAYNE represents the evolved stage of the modern-day artist. Putnam made a name for herself as an undiscovered talent tapped from the far off lands in her hometown in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Those formative years in the isolated mountain range set the building blocks for the beginning of the LAYNE style, which was heavily influenced by the geographic imprint of her rural upbringing. From the get-go, Putnam has absorbed inspiration from her immediate surroundings and grew up with a penchant for arts, culture, and architecture foreign to many youth her age. Her introduction to music was partly driven by her musician father, Kenny Putnam, who spent years touring with country icon Roy Clark. It makes sense, then, that for her music became a daily institution. It seemed Putnam was destined for the life of a musician.
“Music has always been the constant in my life,” says Layne Putnam. “It’s always been there for me, and it always will be. It’s always been my purpose and reason and the one thing that no one could ever take away from me. Growing up until now, it’s been my power, my identity, and my best friend.” As with any genuine artist, age begets change, and for Putnam that meant a life transforming, cross-country relocation to her new and current home in Los Angeles. There, through a casual encounter in a coffee shop, Putnam would meet drummer Alexander Rosca, a transplant session player from Portland, OR. They would bond over similar tastes in music, style, and similarities in the places they once called home. It’s in the City of Angels where these messengers of music found and perfected their crafty and heartfelt take of indie pop powered by moody, emotion-laden rock.

Selfish Things
Alex Biro (Vocals/Piano/Guitar), Cam Snooks (Rhythm Guitar), Michael Ticar (Lead Guitar), Burton Lavery (Bass), Jordan Trask (Drums).
-from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

-While taking their name from Jimmy Eat World's "23", with unmatched determination Selfish Things prove they are neither selfish nor self-serving.

The Toronto, Ontario four-piece, consisting of Alex Biro (Vocals/Guitar/Piano), Mike Ticar (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Cam Snooks (Rhythm Guitar) and Jordan Trask (drums), bring unabashedly honest music to a world fuelled by false promises and pretenses.

Having spent years cultivating and nurturing his raw, natural talent, dedication to musicianship and songwriting, frontman Alex Biro founded Selfish Things. All of this, in the hope of shedding light on one simple, yet oftentimes overlooked, concept — honesty.
Vertical Love (releasing spring of 2018), produced by James Paul Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, Paramore, Underoath), resounds with the passion and wisdom of any seasoned band, yet also holds the unyielding determination of youth and discovery. The band delivers six tracks of pure veracity, while showcasing the personal journey of learning to love yourself despite the mistakes and moments in time when you feel far away from the person you are truly meant to be.
In 2017, Selfish Things introduced the world to "Hangman", a stark call-to-arms single tackling our inherent ability and dire need to shape our own future. A true statement of intent for what's to come from the band.

Brendan Champion - Trombone
Nick Polovineo - Trombone
-from Sydney, Australia

-Brothers Louis and Oli Leimbach, better known as Lime Cordiale, were still in high school when they began writing and playing tunes together in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It didn’t take long to grow out of the area, and within a couple years, they would play at Bluesfest, Homebake, Peats Ridge and BigSound, tour North America including performances at CMJ and SXSW, as well as playing support slots for Ball Park Music, The Griswolds and The Ruebens among others.

Over time, the pair have crafted and refined a sound to call their own. Debut album 'Permanent Vacation' is set for release later this year, followed by a nationwide tour, performing many of their new songs live for the first time. Across twelve tracks, 'Permanent Vacation' showcases a unique blend of rock, pop, soul and beyond, drawing influences from The Beatles and Beach Boys to The Strokes and The Growlers. On their new material, Oli and Louis say they “spent a lot of time creating these songs and exploring their sound. We wanted a collection of songs that really have a personality and vibe,” and they’re not wrong. The album is diverse, engaging, colourful and catchy — and they’re only just getting started.
