When the American political body becomes illiterate and vulgar, it is up to the art scene to call them out on their bullshit. The Angry Abbys aim to walk the fine line between raising awareness and preaching while walking the same fine line between traditionally unpolished punk and formula rock n' roll. In addition to wearing our hearts on our sleeves politically, we also try to entertain by showing our affinity for our collective home in San Francisco. There are not many female fronted rock/punk bands that deliver a topical political message - our goal is to be that band.
