-Mat Kerekes is best known as the frontman of the grungy alternative rock band Citizen. His eponymous singer-songwriter project channels a softer, more intimate side while retaining the confessional lyricism and passionate vocal delivery he's come to be known for. The resulting set of tunes are a unique take on alternative indie rock with emo and folk influences.
