-Hey what's up everybody! my name is Nick Hartkop and I am the frontman and founder of the band McCafferty.

I started making music in my bedroom in 2010 and have been blessed to watch the music grow and reach new people over the last 9 years.

We have released several EP's and 2 LP's, Beachboy and Yarn (Via Triple Crown Records) and are recording a new CD in March that will be released in 2019

we play acoustic punk music.

I want to say thank you to everyone who listens to this band and continues to listen everyday. As we have gotten older so much has changed, from where we live, to getting married and having kids, but mccafferty will always live on.

Its for the punk in all of us.

Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy what's to come in 2019.

"Thunderous, heart-stomping drum beats and guitar work are what makes up Pennsylvania’s most explosive act CAROUSEL KINGS, who return with Plus Ultra, their fourth full-length album, coming May 31, 2019. Today the band divulges details behind the release, and the first video/single “Code Breaker (Smile).”
"On the video, Alexander states, “We proposed a lot of 80’s/90’s youth culture for the video - game show slime-ery, cheesy infomercials, B-level horror movies and ‘dramatic’ film noir. Outside of the visuals, the song references positivity and soul searching throughout, so we balanced light-hearted comedy against keeping fans on their toes with intricate songwriting.
"Musically, Plus Ultra goes far beyond the limitations of pop-punk, adding a deeper and subtle, diverse selection of material, including a whopping ten guest appearances. “Plus Ultra is the first album we have had a female voice on which we are very stoked about!” exclaims Alexander. “In addition to having the great Lexxe on ‘Move Slow,’ we have our good friend and great talent, Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills on "Shellshocked", and MANY other talented friends throughout.  This is the first album we have experimented with many different sounds too, including a ukulele and saxophone featured on ‘Shelter,’ and lots of electronic sounds throughout.”

-Thanks for finding me here. Over the last 20 years, I've played in a gazillion bands (Far, onelinedrawing, New End Original, Gratitude), with big budgets and no budget, from big festivals to tiny living rooms, all over the place. As long as it stays direct and personal, I'm happy.

“A loose, free-roaming approach to songwriting that pushes his music beyond

the normal sad-sack singer/songwriter cliches” - PITCHFORK

“You may know Jonah from
his various projects —
Far, Gratitude, New End,
onelinedrawing — but
music made under his own
name still sounds as
sweet... Matranga may
have done his best work
while flying solo.”
