Mega Ran
Raheem Jarbo
-from Phoenix, AZ

-Random, aka Mega Ran, aka RandomBeats... Teacher, Rapper, Hero. Guinness World Record Holder.

When LA Weekly said that Ran’s “fanbase and niche audiences are growing at a rate not seen since Tech N9ne,” they meant it. A former middle school teacher, Mega Ran (formerly Random) blends education, hip-hop and gaming in amazing new ways, penetrating the farthest reaches of the galaxy with his unique rhyme style and electric performances.

Ran cut his teeth in the city of Philadelphia as a moonlighting emcee and producer, performing, freestyle rapping, producing and later engineering at a studio. After relocating to Phoenix, competing in the Scribble Jam emcee battle championships and taking an early exit, Ran almost quit before he was even started, when a creative lightning bolt struck, and a fire was lit.

Various video game developer co-signs and admiration from the genre’s toughest critics have led to placements in TV, movies, university coursework, and of course, games. Ran’s music and story have been shared on stages across the world, on television (ABC/NBC News, ESPN, Portlandia, Tosh.O, WWE Wrestling) and in leading music, gaming and tech publications, print and online.

Today, Mega Ran is no longer a teacher by title, but maintains a rigorous touring and recording schedule, traveling the world to entertain and educate through the gift of rhyme. With four Billboard charting albums, 3 million YouTube views and a legion of smart art fans he calls “Team Mega” beside him, the future looks brighter than ever.

Crashfaster
Morgan Tucker, Devin Nixon, Ryan Case & Keiko Takamura
-from San Francisco, CA

-San Francisco's crashfaster has evolved from a gameboy-weilding solo act into a snarling, four-bodied electro-rock monster. Isolation, assimilation, accomplishment and emptiness fill the the band's songs, which genre-hop from electro to industrial, electronica to rock, all wrapped in a space punk aesthetic.

Following a recent US tour with Everything Goes Cold in support of their latest EP "superchroma", crashfaster have returned to their songwriting lair to work on a mysterious new album.

In addition to their major releases "superchroma", "further" and "disconnect", crashfaster composed the soundtrack for the Playstation Network 8bit RPG Dragon Fantasy, scored an 8bit video for the EFF, appears on collections for Splatterhouse, Hydorah, C418's "One", 8-Bit Operators' Tribute to Depeche Mode and their classic track “Time” was featured in the trailer for the series Video Game Highschool.

dubldragon
Skeptik & Danny G
-from Bay Area, CA

-dubldragon. is a duo consisting of mc Skeptik and producer Danny G. It wouldn't be until almost a year after their first chance meeting at a house show that the two would join forces, but in the Fall of 2014 the two found themselves releasing and touring on their first, self-titled, album.

Fast forward to today and the two have embarked on five more tours, performing in a total of 15 states alongside the likes of Paulie Rhyme, Corina Corina, DJ Halo, Sammy Warm Hands, Ogar Burl, Middle Name Danger, and other members of their crew, the Lobetrotters Collective. They've also shared stages with Blueprint, Illogic, DJ Abilities, Ecid, Sole, Bop Alloy, Ceschi, Dark Time Sunshine, Grayskul, and more.

Skeptik's sometimes self-effacing, often philosophical, and always sardonic lyricism fits almost symbiotically on Danny's production, which is clearly the result of a wide variety of influences. Sounds vary from the quasi lo-fi and electronic to the more melodic tone of his own instrumentation.

Skeptik's a dragon, Danny's a dragon... Two dragons, you get it.
