The original band consisted of David Kelley on drums and back up vocals and fronted by songwriter Derek Sheiring. They played all over the west coast before Derek somehow woke up on the beaches of Brooklyn and decided to stay. They've been melting faces on the East Coast with a new lineup of rag tag kids; different drummer also named David (Lopez this time). Trey Wolfe on the dirty bass, and cutie pie Whit Garling on the keys. On either coast The Dandy Lions provide a high energy performance with songs that will be stuck in your head until you're dead. They'll get you movin' groovin' and make babies happen. Bro Brocean -from Sacramento, CA -Um it’s actually called Island Jazz Punk....Get with the times.
