[as of 2/11/2022] For everyone's safety, Tijuana Panthers had to pull off
this show because of exposure to COVID. This Heartbreak Show is going
to proceed with Nobody's Baby in the headlining spot. We will probably
be adding one more band to the bill. In order to receive a refund for
your tickets, if you were not interested in the other bands, you need
to reach out at least a couple of hours before the show! But
we encourage you to come to this event anyway. It is going to be a
devastatingly cool show.
Cover charge is changing to $12 instead of $20, so advance ticket purchasers will get an $8 refund per ticket. -from San Francisco, CA -“Nobody’s Baby is a band that set out to make midcentury realism with a psychedelic nightmare backdrop. Everything is from scratch - from recording/producing to building their own guitar amps. Atmospheres of sludgy fuzz to tight harmonies. Wonder to hysteria. Mood swings and dead boyfriends. Blackout drunk Screamin Jay Hawkins. Buddy Holly post plane crash. But there’s no hero worship to be found here. The quartet write a letter to their musical idols. The note is written in vintage fuzz pedals, trashcan reverb and pounding cave dweller drums. The result is a death doowop funeral parade and everyones invited.” James Wavey And The Makeouts -from Oakland, CA -Oakland California’s Michael Bridgmon Alleyes Manifest is known for rhythmic poeticisms and presents them in a psychedelic hip hop style. His music production is influenced by jazz with funk undertones. He has heralded favorable press and plays from National Public Radio, Creative Loafing and more. -from Pinole, CA -Monterey & Bay Area Sound. Formed in 2019 and based out of Richmond, CA. The Troubs are a good-time party band with influences that range from post-punk, indie surf, midwest emo and jazz. |
