Their “modern classic,” raucous sound has hooks galore, featuring old school anthems with a pop punk edge. Influences range from 50s rock ‘n roll, Motown, Rock Steady, British Pub Rock and first wave punk rock, all of which shine through in The Seagulls’ unique brand of rock ‘n roll. Jon is joined by Isaac “Baron von” Bonnell on keys & percussion, Geri “Don’t F*ck with Me” Vahey on drums & Christina Michelle “Proper Rocker” Bailey on bass. Join The Seagulls in celebrating the release of Sunday Afternoon Drinking, a garagey, riotous affair that channels Jim Jones Revue or Sacramento’s own Th’ Losin’ Streaks. Sunday Afternoon Drinking will be featured on The Seagulls’ fifth album, “This Time Next Year,” along with the previously released Harriet & Dogs of Love, on Bandcamp & streaming services. The Temple Beautiful Band -from San Francisco, CA -The Temple Beautiful Band plays mainly songs of bands who played for us at Temple Beautiful in the late '70's that no longer perform. Bands in our repertoire include Tuxedomoon, The Plugs, Jim Carroll Band, Black Randy. We are also including some new original material.
