Sizzy Rocket
-from Brooklyn, NY
-Sizzy Rocket became the sneering face of 21st-century rock & roll thanks to her viral 2016 electro-pop-punk seducer, “Bestie”, an unapologetically profane paean to turning your BFF into one with benefits. It’s easy to hear her corrupting influence on the songs she’s penned for artists like Blu DeTiger, Noah Cyrus & Bea Miller. A seasoned touring artist, she has opened as direct support for GIRLI, Shamir, KITTEN, and Lauren Sanderson and performed on the Main Stage at San Antonio and Grand Rapids PRIDE Festivals. She challenges what it means to be a pop artist in 2022 with her DIY approach, poetic and unapologetic lyricism, and her genre-blending musicality that takes influence from punk, hip-hop, and beyond. She released her sophomore album, Grrrl, in summer 2019 — clocking in at #19 on the iTunes Top Alternative Albums chart — and self-booked a sold-out US tour with TV star chloe mk as support. Her recently-released third studio album ANARCHY (which peaked at #16 on the Alternative Album charts and Top 50 in overall genre charts) explores her own personal chaos and dives into her punk roots for an artful experience unlike anything she’s released before. The accompanying ticketed livestream - ANARCHY: COME TO LIFE - brought fans and friends together into a virtual performance art experience, live from an abandoned theme park. Her accompanying music video for 2020 single "Smells Like Sex" even received an award from Playboy and was exhibited at Miami Art Week this past November. Last March, she tapped up-and-comers UPSAHL and Mothica for remixes of the fan-favorite album tracks for The Bitch EP. With her latest underground covers mixtape, TOO YOUNG TO DIE, released to her ravenous cult fanbase via text message in a Dropbox link – it's clear that Sizzy Rocket is poised for rock stardom… and she's just getting started.

Disco Shrine
-from Los Angeles, CA

Disco Shrine released her debut single 'Up In The Air' in 2018 through French label Kitsune in partnership with the NBA. The electro-pop track was inspired by her parents' immigration story to America from Iran. 'Up in the Air' has touched global audiences receiving acclaim from such outlets as Refinery 29, charted in numerous countries including Spain, Greece, France, and Sweden as well as being played at major retailers including H&M, Zara, Uniqlo and Kitsune. To support the release, Disco Shrine curated a series of pop up events in unconventional locations such as Laundromats, Barber Shops, and Mattress Stores to advocate for immigrant rights.

Xowie Jones
-from North Carolina
-Xowie Jones has released her debut single “UH OH!” via BANK Artists/Elektra Records. The song arrives with an accompanying video, directed by Erik Rojas (Big Time Rush, Jessie J, Waterparks). Watch it now below.

Of the new track, Xowie said, “‘UH OH!’ is all about the feeling that you always overspeak. The fear of accidentally pushing people away by saying too much or over explaining. This anxiety always lingers in my mind, and it seems like such a huge thing. I wanted to turn it into something smaller, something less overbearing, a small uh oh. Xowie exclusively told PAPER, “Shooting a music video like ‘UH OH!’ has been a lifelong dream. I get to be play different versions of myself all in one video, combining some of the identities I’ve portrayed in my past social videos into the performer I want to be now and in the future.”

After amassing a following of more than 7 million on TikTok, astonishing her audience with the creativity of her content and signature alternative style, Xowie discovered a talent for writing and recording music of her own, having been influenced by the energy of several genres through her upbringing.

“UH OH!” is the first of many new tracks to come from Xowie, who is set to release her debut artist project this year. Collaborators include WZRD BLD (Lil Wayne, A Day To Remember, Bullet For My Valentine), Midi Jones (Alessia Cara, Demi Lovato) and JKash (Maroon 5, Avril Lavigne, 5 Seconds of Summer).
