Laura Benitez & the Heartache
-from Richmond, CA
-Laura Benitez and & the Heartache use the three chord tools of country music to tell the simple, unvarnished truth about love, too much whiskey, and the call of the road.
Their twangy honesty shines through in straightforward arrangements, crystalline harmonies, and spare instrumentation. Beware their catchy hooks and sweet melodies - these stray puppy tunes will follow you home and become your most steadfast companions.

Aaron Burnham & The Brushfires
-from Oakland, CA
-Echoing Marty Robbins & Buddy Holly, Aaron brings a rich, golden tenor voice not often heard in country music today. Bay area native Aaron Burnham keeps the honky tonk'n'roll tradition of Johnny Cash and Hank Williams alive with his original tunes and cowboy croons. With his backing band the Brushfires, Aaron will be sure to put a lil' western swing in your step - polish up those dancin' boots!

The Emeryvillains
-from the Bay Area, CA
-1940’s Western Swing Music. Emery Villains formed in 2019 in Emeryville, CA. Started by Scott Holderby (lead vox and guitar) with Rhoda Jean Steen (vox and guitar). The Carolina Drifters from the 50's, featuring Rhoda and her brothers Paul and Clarence were the backup band for the Black Jack Wayne Show on channel 2, backing Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and others.
Scott looked over to his guitar player Danny White (vox and lead guitar) from Mordred to do the finger picking. Scott then turned to a high school friend, Hank Alva (vox and upright bass) to round out the groove of the tunes. Then Hank's barber friend contacted him telling him about a client that just moved to California from Memphis, Tennessee that was looking for a country style band. Brett Bonner (vox and lap steel guitar) joined and brought a whole new and classic sound to the band.
Emery Villains started with the tunes that The Carolina Drifters played and have since been writing their own western, honky tonk music playing multiple venues in the Bay Area and creating a really good following.
