Silent Pictures -from Stanford, CA -Silent Pictures is a bay area band seasoned with all the traditions and elements of British shoegaze and psychedelia. The Silent Pictures sound has been described as a mélange of shoegaze with a strong Roxy Music presence in their sound. Combining elements of shoegaze and dreampop, the sound could so easily be misinterpreted, they create a warm bubble around their music, giving it a sense of stability and control.
