Since then, the duo has self-released 7 albums and 5 Eps drawing on influences from darkwave, slowcore, and dreampop. Their newest album is an amalgamation of all the sounds and themes they have touched upon before with newfound freedom. In the past, Ruby Haunt albums have felt like a world of their own: each LP with its overarching sonic landscape. On their upcoming album, the songs themselves carve their own distinct voice held together by Ruby Haunt’s signature melancholy. Caroline Loveglow -from Los Angeles, CA -Isolation is a familiar feeling for Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer Caroline Loveglow. Before the world shut down, her meditative dream-pop music was informed by long nights at home lost in her head. Sitting in front of her computer, she’d twist and contort familiar sounds—stretching a piano into an unearthly drone or swirling guitar parts through pillowy clouds of distortion and reverb. Her vocals and candid lyrics float above as she ponders existential questions, mulls inner turmoils, and wonders what it means to be human. Caroline’s debut LP, 🍓 ‘Strawberry’ is available everywhere now. Asha Wells -from Oakland, CA -A Bay Area native, Asha wells draws inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Jeff Buckley, and Fiona Apple. They bring a rare fusion of thought provoking imagery and memorable melody for a haunting alt-indie experience. often melancholic vocal melodies paired with tender harmonic guitar comes together to truly embodies the phrase ‘the notes you don’t play’. Asha is currently finalizing original material for their debut LP, Water Words.
