Messer Chups
-from St. Petersburg, RU
-While Messer Chups’ mostly instrumental sound is hard to neatly categorize, it’s safe to say that it would be embraced by fans of rockabilly, horror punk, vintage surf records, Italian slasher films, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Pulp Fiction, lounge music, the theremin, The Cramps, and the theme song from The Munsters. Their catchy music combines surf, vintage Russian melodies, rare film samples from the 50s and 60s, scratchy historical recordings, and lounge loops. Live, they explode with garage-punk intensity, all played against a video-collage backdrop of mid-century trashy cult and horror movie clips featuring Russ Meyer and Ed Wood, and superstars like Vampira and Bela Lugosi in a zombie mash-up.

The Volcanics
-from San Gabriel, CA
-The Volcanics are a high energy, “dance and show combo” from the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. Their dynamic sound (along with their ever present blue sweaters), draws from a wide variety of influences, including the frenzied double picking sounds of 1960’s Surf, as well as the stompin’ energy of early frat rock and roll.

Cutting their teeth on the live circuit for over 15 years, these men have become fan favorites at any surf stomp. With four albums and multiple EP’s under their belt, they’ve won over hot-rodders, shimmy shakers, and teen twisters around the world. The Volcanic’s latest release, FREAKOUT (available on Hi-Tide Recordings), finds the gang yet again firing up their frantic instruments for another round of their boss signature sound!

Isaac Rother & the Phantoms
-from Los Angeles, CA
-Isaac Rother & The Phantoms are the masters of Ghoulish Rock N Roll. A style that unites wild Rock N’ Roll with mid-century Rhythm N’ Blues while adding an overlay of retro horror schlock. Since forming in 2012 the cape wearing, afro’d Rother and his Phantoms have released of slew of EP’s, LP’s, cassette tapes, CDs and music videos to adoring fans all over the world. Their music has taken them as far as Europe and many consider them to be one of the most exciting bands in the business. Only time can tell what this thrilling group will accomplish. If you are lucky enough to catch them live, you are in for an unforgettable performance that will leave you screaming for more!
