Post-release of her first LP, PROTOFEMCELCORE, solo Madxsen rallied three musicians as a backing band and in no time all players became contributors to new tunes. The present iteration of Madxsen features Mateus Gracias on lead guitar (also of the post-rock band Fistfight with Traffic), Charlie Barber on bass (also of metal group Zero to Death), Dino Bevilacqua on drums (also of solo project Francis Dean), and Madysen Moreno as songwriter, guitarist, and lead vocalist. The variety of styles/influences each player brings to the band has manifested itself as an ever-changing blend of sound, but you can call it indie. Black Market the Band -from Los Angeles, CA -Pulsing from the nerve center of The Los Angeles Rock scene, Black Market the Band aka BMTB, offers a fresh and fearless take on the Rock sound. Their musical vibe blends Rock and Metal with a multitude of styles and influences presented in electrifying fashion they call Thrash Jazz. The group constantly challenges the musical status quo in an effort to present something unique and exciting for their listeners around the world. BMTB features Malachi Whitson (Drums), Jake Richardson (Guitar), Shahab Shivaei (Bass), and Henry Gross (Lead Vocals). The Dead Cassettes -from Salinas, CA -The Dead Cassettes are a modern, energetic indie alt-rock band hailing from Salinas, CA. Comprising two brothers - Jacob (lead vocals and guitar) and Matthew Gonzales-Butorac (synth and piano), with Alex Bezdjian (lead guitar), Kito Rayburn-Garcia (bass), and Adam Renteria (drums). Compared to the likes of The Kings of Leon, Deer Hunter, & Manchester Orchestra, their catchy melodies, Jacob’s powerful vocals, and epic synth and guitar solos capture the eclectic NorCal sound. |
