We've got just the stage for you! The US Air Guitar Championships are hitting Brooklyn, NY, on the iconic Star Wars day, May the 4th, and we want YOU to rock the galaxy with us. This is your chance to unleash your inner rockstar in front of an ecstatic crowd, with the chance to win amazing prizes and eternal air guitar glory. Will you channel the force like YodAIR, bring the heat like Princess Slaya, or maybe even smooth-talk your guitar strings like Han Solo? Choose your persona, and may the force be with your riffs! ** YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPETE AS A STAR WARS CHARACTER! ** It's just a fun theme and there will be a costume contest for attendees. Slots are limited, and the galaxy isn't big enough for all the star performers out there. Make sure to sign up quickly to guarantee your place in the lineup. To enter the Championships you must accept the terms of entry and pay the $25 entry fee here. If you win you will receive a travel stipend and a guaranteed competition slot in THE National Championships! Doors open at 8:00pm. Please arrive at the venue, at 7:30 pm to sign-in and get briefed on the competition. You will get in free, but any air roadies or groupies will need to purchase tickets.
