Consisting of two singers and two producers, they have released nine singles and two EPs across 2019-21, and garnered over 160 million streams, mostly without ever setting foot in the same room. Blended from a global collaboration gives 53 Thieves their unique sound, Will Price is a producer from Jackson, Mississippi who has been releasing r&b/soul-inspired instrumental hip hop under the name Pryces since 2016. Caleb Ely, a producer from Bloomington, Indiana, has released music with electronic and hip hop elements under the name Ronin since 2015. Jess, a vocalist from Devon, England; and Conor Jordan, a vocalist from Belfast, Northern Ireland; make up the final two members of the Thieves. Jess and Conor have been working together and releasing electronic/r&b-inspired music under the name Denton Thrift since 2017. All of the Thieves are multi-instrumentalists and incorporate live playing in their shows. KOPPS -from Rochester, NY -Indie electronic band KOPPS emerged from Rochester, New York in 2011. Never ones to take themselves too seriously, the Rochester-bred trio would tell you that their sound is like if Britney Spears and Ko?n f-cked, and they wouldn’t be entirely wrong. Anchored by Patricia Patrón’s sultry vocals, the band has a knack for pop sensibility that they immediately flip on its head, evoking a titillating mix of electro, pop and nu metal. With a flair for the dramatic, KOPPS visuals and stage performance dabble into a creepy, twisted and often bizarr-o glam vibe but always with a wry sense of humor. Brycon -from San Francisco, CA -Brycon is a artist/producer/DJ with 25+ years of production work to his credit. A resident of San Francisco since 2005, he first began his career in North Carolina but has made his mark all over this small planet. |
