My Friend Jupiter · james cage white/Silly Bitch Often Easy -from San Francisco, CA -A ragged and funky indie rock outfit. The urgency with which Often Easy delivers one of their anthemic bops feels as if Tom Waits drove Glass Animals and the Strokes out to the desert and made them either fall in love or fight to the death using only guitar strings, mic stands, and disassembled brass instruments. The Strange -from the Bay Area, CA -The Strange is a five piece alt-rock band with sound influences ranging across decades, from 80's new wave to 2000's post-punk revival. Their music weaves confessional lyrics over rock and R&B grooves, decorated with indie-rock guitars and dreamy synths. Formed early 2019, the band has been performing locally around the Bay Area ever since.
